Terms and Conditions


1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of julietachiara.com and any related pages, platforms, and communities (the "Website"), and every purchase of a program, course, membership, mentorship, workshop, challenge, event, or digital product (each a "Program") from Julieta Chiara LLC ("Julieta Chiara," "we," "us," or "our").

By visiting the Website, creating an account, registering for a free offer, or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or purchase any Program.

2. Eligibility and Adult Content

The Website and Programs contain adult-oriented educational content related to rope bondage (shibari), kink, BDSM, submission, sexuality, and intimacy. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if higher, to use the Website or purchase any Program.

By using the Website, you confirm that you meet this age requirement, that viewing this type of content is legal where you live, and that you are choosing to access it voluntarily. We may terminate access for anyone we reasonably believe does not meet these requirements, without refund.

3. Use of the Website

You may use the Website for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

  • Use the Website in any way that is unlawful, harmful, or that damages or interferes with the Website or other users
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, Program, or system
  • Harass, shame, threaten, or out other members, or post content that is abusive, discriminatory, or non-consensual
  • Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access or copy any part of the Website

We may update, change, or remove any part of the Website at any time. We may remove any comment or user content at our discretion.

4. Intellectual Property and No Copying

All content on the Website and in every Program, including videos, audio, guided visualizations, tying tutorials, written materials, workbooks, frameworks, course names, branding, photos, and social media content, is owned by or licensed to Julieta Chiara LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

When you purchase a Program, you receive a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to access its content for your own individual use. You do not receive ownership of any content. You may not:

  • Copy, download (unless a download is expressly provided), screen-record, screenshot, or reproduce any content
  • Share your login, or share, resell, sublicense, or distribute any content, in full or in part
  • Republish, repackage, or teach our content, frameworks, or methods as your own, or use them to create a competing program, course, or workshop
  • Record any live call, class, or event without our written consent

Any violation of this section ends your license immediately, results in termination of access without refund, and may lead to legal action, including claims for damages and attorney's fees.

5. Purchases and Payment

Prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise and may change at any time; changes do not affect purchases already completed. By completing a purchase, you authorize Julieta Chiara LLC and its payment processors to charge your selected payment method for the full price, or for each installment if you choose a payment plan, plus any applicable taxes.

You are responsible for providing accurate billing information and keeping it current. Access to a Program begins only once payment, or the first installment, has been successfully processed.

6. Payment Plans and Default

If you choose a payment plan, you are agreeing to pay the full purchase price of the Program. A payment plan is a convenience offered to spread the cost over time; it is not a monthly subscription you can cancel. Ending your participation, not using the Program, or deciding it is not for you does not release you from paying the remaining installments.

Installments are charged automatically on the schedule shown at checkout. If an installment fails:

  1. We will attempt the charge again and notify you by email so you can update your payment method.
  2. If the payment is not completed within 7 days of the missed installment, your account is in default.
  3. Upon default, your access to the Program, all related content, live calls, communities, and any bonuses will be suspended or terminated immediately, without notice and without refund of any amounts already paid.
  4. The full remaining balance stays due. We may pursue collection of any unpaid balance, including through third-party collection services, and you agree to pay reasonable collection costs where permitted by law.

Access may be restored at our discretion once your account is brought fully current. We may also decline future purchases from anyone who has defaulted on a payment plan.

7. No Refunds: Digital Products

All Programs are digital products, services, or live experiences that grant immediate access to proprietary content, or reserve your place, once purchased. Because digital content cannot be returned once it has been accessed or made available, all sales are final and no refunds, credits, or exchanges are given, in whole or in part, for any reason, including change of mind, lack of use, schedule conflicts, or dissatisfaction with results.

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that you are receiving immediate access to digital content and that you waive any right to cancel or withdraw from the purchase to the extent permitted by law.

You agree not to initiate a chargeback or payment dispute for a valid purchase. If you do, we may immediately terminate your access to all Programs, and we will submit these Terms, your purchase records, and your access history to the payment processor as evidence.

8. Educational Purpose and Assumption of Risk

All Programs and content are for educational and entertainment purposes only. They are not medical, psychological, therapeutic, sexual health, legal, or relationship counseling advice, and they are not a substitute for a licensed professional. Results are not guaranteed and depend on your own effort and circumstances.

Rope bondage, self-tying, impact, sensation play, power exchange, and other kink and BDSM practices carry inherent physical and emotional risks, including nerve damage, circulation loss, falls, bruising, and emotional distress. You agree that:

  • You participate voluntarily and are solely responsible for your own safety, consent, and well-being, and for that of any partner
  • You will always have safety shears within reach when using rope, and will stop immediately if you feel numbness, tingling, pain, or dizziness
  • You will consult a qualified healthcare provider before practicing if you have any medical or mental health concern
  • You will only engage with other adults who have given informed, enthusiastic, and ongoing consent

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you assume all risks associated with applying any information from the Programs, and you release Julieta Chiara LLC from any claims arising from that use. You may view full Liability Waiver and Assumptions of Risks here.

9. Live Sessions, Communities, and Conduct

Live calls, mentorship sessions, intensives, and community spaces are built on confidentiality and respect. What other members share stays private: you may not record, screenshot, or share anything another member says or shows. You agree to follow any community guidelines we post.

Live sessions take place at the scheduled time. Missed sessions are not refunded and may be offered as a replay at our discretion. We may reschedule a live session if needed and will give notice when possible. In-person intensives may carry additional terms provided at registration.

We may remove anyone from a live session, community, or Program, without refund, for breaching confidentiality, consent, or these Terms, or for behavior we reasonably consider harmful to others.

10. Access, Accounts, and Termination

You are responsible for keeping your login private and for all activity on your account. Access to a Program lasts for the period stated on its sales page; if none is stated, access lasts for as long as the Program is offered by us. We may modify, update, or retire Program content over time.

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, without refund, if you breach these Terms, default on a payment, file a chargeback, or share or copy our content.

The Website and Programs may link to or use third-party sites, tools, or platforms, including Kajabi, payment processors, video hosts, and social media. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, policies, or availability. Your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Website and all Programs are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Website will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Julieta Chiara LLC and its owner, team, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any physical, emotional, or relational outcome arising from your use of the Website or any Program. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you actually paid us for the Program giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Julieta Chiara LLC and its owner, team, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees, arising from your use of the Website or Programs, your practice of any technique taught, or your breach of these Terms.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us first and try in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Miami Beach, Florida and you consent to that jurisdiction.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Website or any Program after an update means you accept the revised Terms. The Terms in effect at the time of your purchase govern that purchase.

16. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in full effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any terms shown at checkout, are the entire agreement between you and Julieta Chiara LLC.
